My Husband Took the Day Off to Cook Thanksgiving Dinner – but What I Saw on Our Kitchen Camera Ruined Everything

On Thanksgiving morning, my husband promised me the perfect holiday. By evening, I was serving the truth instead of turkey.
Eric woke up early — cooking, humming, acting like the husband I’d always hoped he’d become. He told me to relax, get coffee, enjoy my day. It felt strange, but sweet. I wanted to believe him.
While sitting at a café, I opened our nanny cam to check on the house.
That’s when I saw her.
A woman walked into my kitchen like she owned it — confident, familiar, smiling. Eric followed, wrapped his arms around her waist, kissed her, and started preparing two turkeys — one for our family dinner, one for their private feast the next day.
They laughed about how “clueless” I was.
I didn’t cry. I didn’t confront him. I simply saved the footage.
And I waited.
That evening, the house smelled incredible. Family gathered. Eric soaked in the praise, bragging about “spoiling his wife.” I smiled, played along, and let him enjoy his fantasy.
After dessert, I stood up, raised my glass, and said:
“Before my toast… I want to show you all something.”
I pressed play.
The room went silent as my husband’s affair played out on the TV — in our kitchen, on our holiday, in front of both families.
When it ended, I looked at him and said calmly:
“Happy Thanksgiving, Eric. And get out.”
He left with nothing.
And I realized I hadn’t lost a thing — except a man who never deserved me.
