Every Sunday for 3 Years, a Yellow Tulip Appeared for My Husband – When I Finally Found Out Who Was Behind It, I Couldn’t Stop Smiling

My husband brought me a yellow tulip every Sunday for 32 years. After he passed away, someone kept leaving one on his grave every week—for three years. I had no idea who it was.

At first, it felt like a quiet miracle. Every Sunday, without fail, a single tulip appeared, carefully placed, freshly cut—just like he used to do. I asked everyone: family, friends, neighbors. No one knew. Eventually, the mystery became part of my grief… and my comfort.

But I needed to know.

One morning, I arrived early and waited. Around 8:15, I saw a teenage boy approach with a tulip. It was Nick—the same boy who used to argue with my husband constantly.

When I stopped him, he admitted it had been him all along.

Then he told me why.

A few months before my husband died, Nick had stepped into the road without looking. A truck was coming. My husband pulled him back just in time, saving his life. Instead of scolding him, he took him for coffee, talked to him, and treated him like he mattered.

Nick never got the chance to say thank you.

So he brought a tulip every Sunday—the same way my husband once showed love to me.

The next Sunday, he brought two. And for the first time, I wasn’t grieving alone.
