Two years ago, I met Daniel. He was kind, patient, and stronger than anyone I\u2019d ever known. Ten years earlier, he had lost his leg in a terrible accident \u2014 the same year his twin daughters were born.<\/p>\n

When the girls were just three months old, his first wife walked away. According to Daniel, she said she couldn\u2019t handle the pressure and disappeared without ever looking back. No calls. No visits. Nothing.<\/p>\n
