I always knew I was adopted.<\/p>\n

My parents never hid it from me. They told me I came from a family that had already had several children and couldn\u2019t raise another. According to the story, they lived a few towns away, and I had simply been a surprise baby they couldn\u2019t keep.<\/p>\n
