My husband and I have been married for five years, and every holiday his mother plans a big family trip. This year, we went to ask if we\u2019d be joining everyone again, expecting the usual invite.<\/p>\n
Instead, my mother-in-law looked at us and said we weren\u2019t included.<\/p>\n
Confused, my husband asked why. She calmly explained that this year\u2019s trip was to Disneyland<\/strong>, and since it was \u201cfor the kids\u201d and we didn\u2019t have children, we weren\u2019t invited.<\/p>\n My husband stared at her in disbelief. She looked him right in the eyes and replied, \u201cIt\u2019s a family trip filled with family activities.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n I stood there speechless.<\/p>\n My husband tried explaining that we planned to have children someday when we were ready, but she cut him off and coldly said:<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you give me grandkids, then you can come on the family vacation.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n At that moment, my husband was heartbroken.
