At that moment, it hit me harder than anything else that night\u2014I was completely alone.<\/p>\n

My hands were shaking as I signed papers, answered questions, and tried to stay strong while machines beeped around my baby. Every second felt like a lifetime. I kept replaying it in my head\u2026 how I begged him to help, how he turned away like it wasn\u2019t his responsibility.<\/p>\n
