My Date Said I Couldn’t Have Dessert Because He Liked Skinny Women – I Made Sure He’d Never Forget That Dinner

I thought I was walking into another disappointing first date. Instead, I ended the night teaching a man exactly what happens when a woman stops shrinking herself to protect his ego.
At first, Steven looked perfect on paper: polished suit, expensive restaurant, confident smile. But within minutes, the cracks started showing.
When I ordered pasta, he smirked and asked if I “really needed all those carbs.” Then he told me his ex “let herself go” because she started ordering appetizers.
I should’ve left right then.
But the worst part came when he leaned across the table and whispered, “My boss is sitting behind you. I’m up for a promotion, so try to act like a lady.”
Suddenly, it all made sense.
I wasn’t a date. I was a prop.
Then, when the waiter offered dessert, Steven put his hand over the menu and said, “She’ll pass. I like skinny women.”
So I smiled sweetly and ordered every dessert on the menu… plus a $400 bottle of champagne for his boss’s table.
Turns out, his boss had heard EVERYTHING.
And not only was she unimpressed — she was sitting there with her wife while Steven ranted about his “standards” for women.
By the end of the night, Steven lost his promotion, his dignity, and probably his job.
I walked out carrying chocolate soufflé and self-respect.
Best dessert I ever tasted.
