My Ex Cheated With My Sister—Then Asked Me Back Six Years Later

I met Dan when I was 18, and for years, I believed he was the love of my life. We married four years later and began planning a family.

During the fifth year of our marriage, while I was pregnant, I discovered that Dan had been having an affair with my younger sister, Rachel.

The betrayal destroyed me.

I filed for divorce, moved to another state, and cut contact with both of them. Over the next six years, I raised my daughter, built a stable career, and slowly created a peaceful life.

Then one evening, Dan emailed me.

He claimed his relationship with Rachel had ended and said losing me had been the biggest mistake of his life. He begged for a second chance and promised he had changed.

I replied:

“Before asking me back, tell Rachel that I know the child she raised as yours isn’t actually yours.”

Minutes later, Rachel called me screaming.

Years earlier, shortly before I left, I had found messages proving she had been seeing another man at the same time. I never exposed her because I wanted nothing more to do with either of them.

Dan demanded a DNA test.

The results confirmed the boy wasn’t biologically his.

Their relationship collapsed under the same lies that had destroyed my marriage.

Dan emailed again, begging me to forgive him.

I deleted the message.

I didn’t need revenge. The truth had simply returned to the people who created it.
