Pat Sajak recently revealed on Good Morning America that he underwent emergency surgery for a blocked bowel after collapsing in severe pain during a walk with his daughter. Powerful medication briefly made him feel so peaceful he thought he was dying—only to later realize he was just heavily medicated.
The surgery was successful, doctors found no underlying cause, and Sajak has fully recovered. He’s back hosting Wheel of Fortune and jokingly keeping an eye on Vanna White, who he says enjoyed filling in a little too much.
