The suspect, seen wearing dark clothing in what appears to be a residential area, was captured on video at an undisclosed location. Authorities are withholding certain details to protect the ongoing investigation. Experts say the suspect’s walk, visible eyes, and body structure could help identify them. Analysts are also examining clues such as shoe size, height, weight, and a backpack believed to be full, suggesting the crime was carefully planned and that Nancy was the intended target.
Investigators believe the suspect disabled Nancy’s doorbell camera, and an alleged ransom note referencing digital currency is being analyzed. Nancy was last seen January 31. The FBI continues to urge anyone with information to come forward as the search remains active.
